Community Terms of Use
Effective: October 15, 2026 · Last updated: October 15, 2026 · Version 1
These Community Terms of Use (“Community Terms”) are an agreement between you and The Vitality Collective LLC (“The Vitality Collective,” “we,” “us” or “our”), a Connecticut limited liability company at 364 Wheelers Farm Road, Unit 302, Milford, CT 06461. They cover The Collective, our online members community, including its free Commons tier and its paid Inner Circle membership.
Please read them carefully. They include how Inner Circle renews and how to cancel (Section 11), what happens if you withdraw your consumer health data consent (Section 10), limits on our liability (Section 17) and how disputes are handled (Section 19).

1. About these Community Terms
How you agree. You agree to these Community Terms and our Community Guidelines by checking the separate box for them when you join The Collective. That box is never pre-checked, and it’s separate from your privacy consents and from the Inner Circle renewal consent. If you don’t agree, please don’t join.
How these fit with our other terms. Our Terms of Service also apply to your use of The Collective. If these Community Terms conflict with the Terms of Service, these Community Terms control for The Collective.
Your privacy. Our Privacy Policy and Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy explain how we handle your information, including what you post in The Collective. You don’t “agree” to those policies. Instead, we ask for your consent separately before you join (see Section 10).
The waitlist. Joining the waitlist for The Collective doesn’t make you a member and doesn’t commit you to anything. These Community Terms apply once you join.
Definitions. In these Community Terms:
- “The Collective” means our online members community, including its channels, posts, comments, direct messages, events, live Q&As, replays, courses, library, resources and mobile app.
- “Commons” is the free tier of The Collective.
- “Inner Circle” is the paid tier of The Collective.
- “Guidelines” means our Community Guidelines (Section 5).
- “Member Content” means anything you post, comment, upload or send in The Collective, including direct messages, your profile and questions you submit for a live Q&A.
- “Our Content” means everything in The Collective that we or our licensors create, including library modules, replays, playbooks, cheat sheets, worksheets and videos.
2. Who can join
To join The Collective, you must:
- Be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract;
- Live in the United States;
- Not have been removed or banned from The Collective or our other services before; and
- Join only for yourself, with your own name and email address.
The Collective is for adults only. If we learn that a member is under 18, we’ll end that membership and delete the account and its Member Content. If an under-18 member had Inner Circle, we’ll refund what was paid for it.
3. Membership tiers and your account
Tiers.
- Commons (free): the open channels, Start Here, starter resources and replays of the monthly live Q&A, posted after the live session.
- Inner Circle (paid): everything in Commons, plus a live seat at the monthly Q&A, the private Inner Circle channels, the full library and the other Inner Circle resources described on the sign-up page when you join.
The current features of each tier are described on our sign-up pages. We may add, change or remove features over time, as described in Section 11.10 and Section 20.
Your account. The Collective is hosted for us by our community and membership platform provider and is available on the web at members.thevitalitycollective.co and through a mobile app. When you have an account, you agree to:
- Give accurate information and keep your email address current, because that’s where we send billing, renewal and other important notices;
- Use a display name that isn’t misleading. We suggest your first name and last initial. A profile photo is optional;
- Keep your login private and not share your account with anyone; and
- Tell us right away at welcome@thevitalitycollective.co if you think someone else has used your account.
You’re responsible for activity under your account. Each account is for one person.
4. Education only, not medical care
The Vitality Collective community and its content are for general education only and aren’t medical advice. Participating doesn’t create a clinician-patient relationship, and our founder, staff, and moderators aren’t clinicians. For anything medical, talk with a licensed clinician. Some medications a clinician may prescribe are not FDA-approved. Individual results vary, and no outcome is guaranteed. If you have a medical emergency, call 911. If you’re in crisis, call or text 988.
In addition:
- No individual medical advice. Nobody in The Collective gives individual medical advice. That includes us, our moderators and other members. We won’t answer questions about your own symptoms, lab results, medications, doses or treatment, in public or in direct messages. We’ll point you to a licensed clinician instead.
- The live Q&A is hosted by our founder. Charles Chancio III is the founder of The Vitality Collective and isn’t a clinician. Live Q&As cover education, habits and how getting care works. They aren’t medical appointments.
- Membership isn’t care. Membership doesn’t include clinical visits, lab tests, prescriptions or any other clinical service. Medical care offered through The Vitality Collective is provided by independent licensed clinicians, not by The Vitality Collective, and isn’t part of membership. Available nationwide. Some visit requirements vary by state. If you’d like to learn how getting started works, you can request a Private Call with our founder, Charles Chancio III, who isn’t a clinician. It’s a conversation, not medical care.
- If you’re already a patient, please send questions about your own care to your clinician through your patient portal, not through The Collective.
- Other members’ posts are their own. Members share their own experiences and opinions. We don’t check them for accuracy, and they aren’t medical advice.
- Don’t act on what you read here alone. Don’t start, stop or change any medication, supplement or treatment, and don’t delay getting care, because of something you read, watch or hear in The Collective.
- Not monitored around the clock. The Collective isn’t watched 24/7, and posts and messages may not be seen for some time. Never use it for an urgent health concern.
5. Community Guidelines
Our Community Guidelines are part of these Community Terms. They’re also pinned in Start Here. Please read them before you post. A few of the most important rules:
- Keep health details private, yours and everyone else’s. Don’t post lab results, diagnoses, medications, doses or photos of prescriptions or reports.
- No dosing, protocols, “stacks,” sourcing or vendor links, and no discount or referral codes.
- Never buy, sell, trade or give away peptides, hormones, prescription medications or “research” compounds, in posts or in direct messages.
- Don’t say that any treatment, peptide or product treats, cures or prevents a disease.
- If you work for us or earn commissions from us, say so when you talk about our services.
- Be kind. No harassment, hate, threats, shaming, spam or impersonation.
- Don’t share other members’ posts, messages, names or images outside The Collective.
If the Guidelines and these Community Terms conflict, these Community Terms control. We may update the Guidelines as described in Section 20.
6. Your content and how we use it
You own your Member Content. You keep ownership of what you post.
The license you give us. You give The Vitality Collective LLC a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, display, reproduce and moderate your Member Content within The Collective so we can operate it, and to remove it. This license lasts while your Member Content is in The Collective. It ends when your Member Content is deleted, except for copies in routine backups until they’re overwritten and copies we must keep by law.
No marketing use without your permission. We won’t use your Member Content, your name or your image in advertising, marketing, testimonials or anywhere outside The Collective without your separate written permission. Agreeing to these Community Terms isn’t that permission. We don’t feature, pin or reward members’ “results” posts.
Live Q&A questions. If you submit a question for a live Q&A, you allow us to read it aloud or show it during the session, after we remove any personal details. We won’t add claims to your question or change its meaning.
Your promises about your content. You confirm that you have the right to post your Member Content, that it’s accurate to your own experience and that it doesn’t break the law, these Community Terms or the Guidelines, or infringe anyone’s rights.
Feedback. If you send us ideas or suggestions about The Collective, we may use them without owing you anything. This doesn’t give us any right to use your Member Content outside The Collective.
7. What’s private and what isn’t
The Collective is a members-only space, but it isn’t confidential. Please keep these limits in mind:
- Posts and comments are visible to other members. Anything you post in a channel, including your display name and profile, can be seen by members who have access to that channel. Inner Circle channels are visible to Inner Circle members. Commons channels are visible to all members.
- Direct messages aren’t private from the person you send them to. The recipient can read, keep or share them.
- We can’t control what other members do. Members are asked not to share other members’ posts outside The Collective, but someone could take a screenshot or copy what you post.
- Live sessions. During a live Q&A, other attendees may see your name and anything you type or say. Replays are edited so they don’t show members’ names or video (Section 9).
- Not a medical record. What you share in The Collective isn’t a confidential communication with a clinician. It isn’t part of any medical record.
- Kept apart from patient care. Membership isn’t linked to patient records, and our moderators don’t have access to patient records. We never say publicly whether anyone is a patient.
The safest rule: if you wouldn’t want something seen by other members, don’t post it.
8. Moderation, removal and reporting
How we moderate. We may review, hold, hide or remove any Member Content (or edit personal details out of it), and we may restrict, suspend or remove any member, when we reasonably believe it’s needed to enforce these Community Terms or the Guidelines, to protect members’ privacy or safety, or to comply with the law. Some posts are automatically held for review before they appear. Our decisions are based on what the content says and whether it breaks the rules (for example, privacy, safety, dosing, sourcing, selling, harassment or disease claims). They’re never based on whether a post is positive or negative about us.
What we usually do. For most issues, we remove the post and send you a private note explaining why. Repeat issues lead to a written warning and then removal from The Collective. We may remove a member right away, without a warning, for buying, selling, trading or sourcing medications or other compounds, for harassment or threats, for sharing someone else’s health information or for any serious or illegal conduct.
Posts about emergencies or self-harm. If a post describes an emergency or self-harm, we’ll reply with 911 and 988 information and remove the post to protect the member’s privacy.
No duty to monitor. We aren’t required to review everything posted, and we don’t monitor The Collective around the clock. We don’t endorse Member Content, and it doesn’t reflect our views.
How to report. Use the report option in the ••• menu on any post, comment or direct message, or email welcome@thevitalitycollective.co. Our team will never direct message you about your health or ask you to buy anything in a direct message. Please report anyone who does.
If you think we got it wrong. Email welcome@thevitalitycollective.co with the subject line “Moderation Review,” and we’ll take another look.
9. Live Q&As, recordings and events
- The monthly live Q&A is hosted by our founder. Inner Circle members get a live seat. Commons members get the replay.
- Live sessions may be recorded. We’ll say so at the start of each session. Replays are edited so they don’t show members’ names or video.
- Questions are screened before each session, and we remove personal details before a question is read.
- Please don’t record, screenshot or share live sessions or replays yourself.
- Event times, formats and schedules may change. We’ll post changes in The Collective.
- Live sessions run on a third-party video meeting service, which may have its own terms and privacy notice.
10. Your consumer health data consents, and withdrawing them
Why we ask. The Collective is a health and wellness community. The fact that you’re a member, and much of what members post, can reveal information about health. Some state laws treat this as “consumer health data.” So before you join, we ask for two separate consents, each with its own unchecked box: one to collect your consumer health data through The Collective, and one to share what you post with other members. Both are needed to join, because The Collective can’t work without them. Our Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy explains exactly what’s covered.
How to withdraw. You can withdraw either consent at any time, as easily as you gave it:
- Use Leave Community in your profile; or
- Email welcome@thevitalitycollective.co with the subject line “Withdraw Consent”; or
- Write to us at The Vitality Collective LLC, Attn: Privacy, 364 Wheelers Farm Road, Unit 302, Milford, CT 06461.
What happens when you withdraw.
- Your community access ends immediately. That includes Commons and Inner Circle. We’ll stop collecting and sharing your consumer health data through The Collective, except as needed to finish what’s described below or as required by law.
- If you have Inner Circle, we cancel it, and you won’t be charged again.
- Prorated refund. If you have Inner Circle, we’ll refund the unused part of your current billing period to your original payment method. We work it out by the number of unused days left in that period. For example, if you withdraw with 10 days left in a 30-day monthly period, we refund about one-third of that month’s payment. We’ll issue the refund within 10 business days after we process your withdrawal. Your bank or card issuer may take a few more days to post it.
- Confirmation. We’ll email you to confirm, and we’ll offer to delete the posts and comments you made. We’ll process a deletion request as described in our Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy.
- What we keep. We keep a record of the consents you gave and withdrew, and the billing records the law requires, as described in our Privacy Policy.
- Coming back. You’re welcome to rejoin later. You’d simply join again and give your consents at that point.
Withdrawing consent doesn’t affect anything we did with your data before you withdrew. Unsubscribing from marketing emails is separate. It doesn’t affect your membership.
11. Inner Circle membership: billing, renewal and cancellation
11.1 Price and billing
- Monthly: $12.99 per month, plus any applicable tax, charged when you join and on the same day each month (or the last day of the month, if a month doesn’t have that day).
- Annual: $129 per year, plus any applicable tax, charged when you join and on the same date each year.
- There’s no free trial and no introductory or founding price.
- Payments are processed by our payment processor, Stripe. We don’t receive or store your full card number. Please keep your payment method current.
- Prices are in U.S. dollars. Taxes are shown at checkout where we’re required to collect them.
11.2 Automatic renewal
Inner Circle renews automatically until you cancel. Before you pay, the checkout page shows the price, how often you’ll be charged, that the membership renews automatically and how to cancel, and we ask for your agreement in a separate, unchecked box. By checking that box, you authorize us to charge your payment method $12.99 every month (monthly plan) or $129 every year (annual plan), plus applicable tax, until you cancel.
11.3 Confirmation and reminders
- Confirmation: right after you join, we email you your membership terms: your plan and price, your renewal date, how to cancel and the date to cancel by to avoid the next charge.
- Annual plan: we email you a reminder 30 to 40 days before each annual renewal.
- Monthly plan: we email you a reminder once a year, around the anniversary of the date you joined.
- Reminders go to the email address on your account and include how to cancel. We don’t put health details in email subject lines.
11.4 How to cancel
You can cancel anytime, online, by email. To cancel Inner Circle, send the pre-written cancellation email or email welcome@thevitalitycollective.co with the subject line “Cancel my Inner Circle membership.” We process cancellations within 1 business day and email you a confirmation.
The pre-written cancellation email link is also in your confirmation email and every billing and reminder email. It opens an email to welcome@thevitalitycollective.co with everything filled in. Just press send from the email address you joined with. Your confirmation shows the date your Inner Circle access ends.
Cancel before your renewal date to avoid the next charge. If your cancellation email reaches us before your renewal date, you won’t be charged for the next period, even if we finish processing it on the next business day.
We don’t use “save” offers that make cancelling harder. If we ever show an offer when you cancel, the option to finish cancelling will stay visible the whole time.
11.5 What happens when you cancel
When you cancel, your Inner Circle access continues through the end of the billing period you’ve already paid for. You won’t be charged again. After that, you keep free Commons access, so you’re still part of The Collective. You can rejoin Inner Circle anytime. You’ll see the full terms again before you pay.
(Cancelling Inner Circle is different from withdrawing your consumer health data consent. Withdrawing ends all community access right away, with a prorated refund, as described in Section 10.)
11.6 If a payment fails
If a renewal payment doesn’t go through, we’ll email you and our payment processor may retry the charge for a limited time. If we still can’t collect it, your Inner Circle membership ends, and you keep Commons access. We won’t charge you for any period after your membership ends.
11.7 Price changes
If we change the price of Inner Circle, we’ll email you 10 to 30 days before the change, along with how to cancel. A higher price will apply to your existing membership only if you agree to it. If you don’t agree before the change date, your membership will end at the end of your current paid period and you won’t be charged the new price.
11.8 Refunds
Cancelling stops future charges. Payments already processed aren’t refunded, except where required by law or when you withdraw your consumer health data consent, as described above.
11.9 Switching plans
If you’d like to switch between monthly and annual, email welcome@thevitalitycollective.co and we’ll explain your options before anything changes. We won’t change your plan or charge you a different amount without your agreement.
11.10 Changes to what Inner Circle includes
We keep improving The Collective, and its content, channels and events will change over time. If we make a change that materially reduces what Inner Circle includes, we’ll tell you in advance as described in Section 20, and you can cancel as described in Section 11.4.
12. Ending your membership
You can leave anytime.
- To stop paying for Inner Circle but stay in Commons, cancel Inner Circle (Section 11.4).
- To leave The Collective completely, use Leave Community or email us with the subject line “Withdraw Consent.” Leaving this way is a withdrawal of your consumer health data consent, so Section 10 applies, including the prorated refund if you have Inner Circle.
We can end or suspend your membership if you break these Community Terms or the Guidelines or if the law requires it. We can also do so if it’s needed to protect members’ safety or privacy or the security of The Collective, or if we close The Collective or a tier. Where reasonable, we’ll tell you why. If we end your membership because you broke these Community Terms or the Guidelines, your access ends right away and the refund rule in Section 11.8 applies. If we close The Collective or a tier, we’ll give you reasonable advance notice.
After your membership ends, you can no longer access The Collective or Our Content. Your Member Content is handled as described in our Privacy Policy: we delete your remaining content on request or within 90 days after you leave, unless we need to keep it to resolve a dispute or comply with law. Ending a membership doesn’t affect any clinical relationship you have with a clinician.
What continues. Sections that by their nature should continue after your membership ends will continue, including Sections 6 (as to the end of the license), 13, 16, 17, 18, 19 and 21.
13. Our content and intellectual property
Your license to Our Content. While you’re a member, we give you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable license to view and use Our Content for your own personal, non-commercial use. Commons members can use Commons content. Inner Circle members can also use Inner Circle content while their Inner Circle membership is active. Downloadable worksheets and cheat sheets may be printed for your own use.
What you can’t do. Unless we give you written permission, you may not copy, share, post, resell, sublicense or distribute Our Content (for example, to social media, a file-sharing site or another course or community), use it with clients or for any commercial purpose, remove copyright notices or use it to develop or train artificial intelligence or machine learning tools. Please don’t scrape The Collective, use bots in it or try to get around access controls or paywalls.
Our names. “The Vitality Collective,” our logos and related names and designs belong to The Vitality Collective LLC. You may not use them without our written permission.
14. Copyright complaints (DMCA)
We respect intellectual property rights and respond to notices of alleged copyright infringement under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 512).
Notice of infringement. If you believe content in The Collective infringes your copyright, send a written notice to our designated agent that includes:
- your physical or electronic signature;
- identification of the copyrighted work you claim is infringed;
- identification of the material you claim is infringing, with enough information for us to locate it (such as a URL);
- your name, address, telephone number and email address;
- a statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent or the law; and
- a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner’s behalf.
Designated agent:
Charles Chancio III, Copyright Agent
The Vitality Collective LLC
364 Wheelers Farm Road, Unit 302, Milford, CT 06461
Phone: 203-906-2513
Email: cchancio@thevitalitycollective.co
Counter-notice. If we remove your content and you believe it was removed by mistake or misidentification, you may send our designated agent a counter-notice that includes your physical or electronic signature; identification of the removed material and where it appeared; a statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief it was removed by mistake or misidentification; and your name, address and telephone number, plus a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for your address (or, if you are outside the United States, any judicial district in which we may be found) and will accept service of process from the person who sent the original notice. We may restore the material in 10 to 14 business days unless the complaining party tells us it has filed a court action.
Repeat infringers. We will, in appropriate circumstances, end the accounts and community access of users who are repeat infringers.
Misrepresentations. Under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), anyone who knowingly makes a material misrepresentation in a notice or counter-notice may be liable for damages.
15. Our platform provider and the app
The Collective runs on a third-party community and membership platform that hosts it for us as our service provider. You may use The Collective through a mobile app offered by that provider, which may also have its own terms and privacy notice for the app. We aren’t responsible for app store terms, for your device or internet connection, or for outages of third-party services. We may change platform providers, and if we do, we’ll tell you how to access The Collective.
16. Disclaimers
Please read this section carefully.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Collective, Our Content and Member Content are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title and non-infringement.
We don’t promise that The Collective will always be available, uninterrupted, secure or error-free, that Our Content is complete, current or suited to your situation or that you’ll achieve any health, wellness, fitness, weight or other result. We aren’t responsible for Member Content or for what other members say or do, in The Collective or outside it.
This section doesn’t affect any rights you have that can’t be waived under applicable law. Some states don’t allow the disclaimer of implied warranties, so some of this section may not apply to you.
17. Limitation of liability
Please read this section carefully.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Vitality Collective and its members, managers, employees, contractors and agents won’t be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data or loss of goodwill, arising out of or related to The Collective, even if we’ve been told such damages are possible.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for all claims arising out of or related to The Collective won’t be more than the greater of (a) the amount you paid us for Inner Circle in the 12 months before the claim arose or (b) one hundred U.S. dollars ($100).
This section doesn’t limit:
- Our liability for gross negligence, willful misconduct or fraud;
- Our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, where the law doesn’t allow it to be limited;
- Your right to a refund described in Section 10, or any refund the law requires; or
- Any other liability that can’t be limited or excluded under applicable law, including your rights under consumer protection laws that can’t be waived.
Some states don’t allow certain limitations of liability. In those states, our liability is limited only to the fullest extent the law allows.
18. Indemnification
Section 21 (Indemnification) of our Terms of Service applies to your Member Content and your use of The Collective.
19. Disputes and governing law
- Let’s talk first. If you have a concern, please email welcome@thevitalitycollective.co with the subject line “Dispute” and tell us what happened and what you’d like us to do. We’ll do the same if we have a concern about you. We each agree to try in good faith to resolve it informally for at least 30 days before going to court. This step doesn’t apply to small claims cases or to urgent court orders, such as to stop infringement of intellectual property.
- Governing law. These Community Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Connecticut and applicable federal law, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
- Courts. Any lawsuit about these Community Terms or The Collective must be brought in the state or federal courts located in Connecticut, and you and we consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts. Either of us may instead bring an individual claim in small claims court in the county where you live or in Connecticut, if the claim qualifies.
- Your local rights. If you’re a consumer and the law of the state where you live gives you the right to have a dispute decided under that state’s law or in that state’s courts, nothing in this section takes that right away.
20. Changes to these Community Terms
We may update these Community Terms from time to time. When we do, we’ll post the updated version at /community-terms and change the “Last updated” date at the top.
If a change is material, we’ll notify members by email and with a notice in the community at least 30 days before it takes effect. For changes that aren’t material, such as clarifications, formatting, or fixes that don’t reduce your rights, notice takes effect when we post them.
If you keep using The Collective after a change takes effect, that means you accept the updated Terms. If you don’t agree, you can stop using The Collective and cancel your membership at any time before the change takes effect, as described in Section 11. If you cancel because of a material change, we’ll refund the unused part of your current paid billing period.
Price and billing changes work differently. We won’t change the price, billing interval, or renewal terms of a paid membership unless you give your express consent. If you don’t consent, your membership stays on its current terms until the end of the current billing period and then doesn’t renew.
Changes don’t apply to disputes that arose before the change took effect.
21. General terms
- Entire agreement. These Community Terms, the Guidelines, the terms shown at checkout and our Terms of Service are the entire agreement between you and us about The Collective.
- Severability. If any part of these Community Terms is found unenforceable, that part will be limited or removed only as much as needed, and the rest stays in effect.
- No waiver. If we don’t enforce part of these Community Terms, we can still enforce it later.
- Assignment. You can’t transfer your membership or your rights under these Community Terms. We may transfer ours in connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganization or sale of all or part of our business, as permitted by law.
- Events beyond our control. We aren’t responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, such as outages, natural disasters or government action.
- Notices. We may send you notices by email to the address on your account or by posting in Announcements. You agree that electronic notices satisfy any requirement that they be in writing. You can send notices to us at the contact details below.
- Interpretation. Headings are for convenience only. “Including” means “including, without limitation.”
